Responsible party: Stolen Youth Organization (Pty) Ltd (reg. 2023/589555/07), South Africa. This notice explains how InnerChild handles personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

Your name, username, email, a hashed password, optional birth year, and the shows you track. If you connect MyAnimeList we store encrypted access tokens to read and update your list.

Why

To run your account, show your vault to the people you choose, and keep the service secure. Staff accounts are mirrored to Stolen Youth's identity service (SY-IAM) so access can be managed centrally.

Advertising

Free accounts may see ads served by Google. Where required, we ask for consent before any personalised advertising cookies are set. Supporters see no ads.

Your rights

You can view and correct your information in Settings, make your vault private, and delete your account at any time. To request a copy of your data or lodge a query, contact the Information Officer at Stolen Youth Organization. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
